This is an article about the original Buzz Bee Double Shot. For other uses, see Double shot.
The Double Shot is a Buzz Bee blaster that was released in 2005 under the Ruff Stuff Air Blasters series.
Included contents[]
- 1 Double Shot
- 4 shells
- 6 Micro Darts
Details[]
The Double Shot is a shell-loaded double-barreled blaster and requires the use of shells to fire. When the blaster is "broken open" to be reloaded after being fired, spent shells will eject outwards. It features a two-step firing trigger that allows it to fire either one or both darts at a time. It features a storage point in its integrated stock; up to four darts or shells can be stored at a time.
The Double Shot uses a string to prime the plunger when the barrel is broken open, which may break after continuous use.
History[]
The original 2005 release of the blaster was released with the name Double Shot Dart Blaster; further re-releases dropped the "Dart Blaster" from the name. It was carried over to the Air Blasters series and given a new yellow color scheme.
A redesign of the blaster was released in 2011, now with over-under barrels instead of the original side-by-side configuration.
Color schemes[]
The Double Shot has been released with the following color schemes:
- Ruff Stuff Air Blasters (yellow, blue, and orange)
- Air Blasters (yellow, green, and orange)
- Air Blasters (orange and blue)
Reloading and firing[]
To reload the Double Shot, break open the blaster by pushing the orange button on the top of the blaster. Load up to two shells with one dart each, then load them into the blaster. Flip the barrel back up into its firing position to prime the blaster.
Pull the firing trigger halfway to fire a single dart; pulling the trigger all the way will fire both at the same time.
