Details[]
The Double Punch is a clip system flywheel blaster that feeds in two clips at once. Similar to the N-Strike Elite Rhino-Fire, it features two separate barrels that darts fire out of, in alternate fashion; when fired, these barrels collapse one after another. Like the Rhino-Fire, the barrels are shrouded by a pair of rubber bellows. The mechanism for firing darts can be seen through a transparent part of the shell. It also features an integrated shoulder stock.
The blaster is semi-automatic with a binary-style of firing; squeezing the trigger fires a dart from one barrel, and releasing it fires the other dart from the other barrel.
A clip release lever sits behind the clip well, in front of the triggers. Space to store ten additional darts is built into the top of the blaster, just under where a tactical rail sits.

History[]
The Double Punch first leaked online on January 15, 2023 in the form of imageless catalog listings.[1]
Later, a promotional image showcasing Murph holding a Double Punch surfaced. This blaster had a blue and white color scheme, while the final production one has a blue and green scheme.
Proper images of the blaster would be discovered later, on April 28. It had an early release in Canadian Toys "R" Us stores in early May.
The blaster would be released officially on store shelves in late June of 2023.
Trivia[]
- The Double Punch could be considered the second Nerf blaster to be burst-fire capable, with the first being the Regulator. However, unlike the Regulator, the Double Punch technically needs two different inputs of the trigger (pulling and releasing) before the burst of two darts is completed.
- Only the left clip well of the blaster is compatible with asymmetrical drums, and when a drum is loaded, it will push against longer clips loaded in the other well.
- This blaster is one of very few blasters which feeds from more than one clip, the others being the Rhino-Fire, Double Dealer, SELECT, Vulcanator, and Hail-Fire.
- Oddly enough, the blaster's flywheels can be spun up without either clip well being loaded.
- The Double Punch can be seen as a successor to the Rhino-Fire, as both blasters have moving twin barrels.
