The DoubleBreach is a Nerf blaster that was released in spring of 2017 under the N-Strike Mega series.

It comes packaged with six Mega Darts and dart storage.

The DoubleBreach is a double-barreled breech-loaded blaster; its breech is located on the left side of the body. It features an intelligent air restrictor system, and allows it to fire from either barrel as loaded. It is capable of slam firing.[2] It also features an optional dart storage accessory that holds up to four darts at a time, one tactical rail, and two strap points: one under the muzzle and one built into the handle.

It advertises a firing range of up to ninety feet (twenty-seven meters).[1]

Official description

  • The name "DoubleBreach" is a play on words and possibly a misspelling as well. To "breach" is to break or rupture; a "breech" is an opening (typically rear or side, but not front) through which to load a firearm.
  • Before the blaster's release, many Nerfers thought the DoubleBreach was going to be the first N-Strike Mega multi-fire blaster, since it is pump action and has two barrels. This title was given to the late TwinShock.
  • Some DoubleBreach blasters, when loaded with older, more crummy darts, can fire both darts at the same time.[3]
  • It is possible to load two more darts into the DoubleBreach's barrel along with the previously loaded darts to act as a short-range pseudo-shotgun.
