History[]
In 2013, a spiritual successor to this set was released in the form of the Disk Shooter. Although not made by Hasbro, the Disk Shooter features the exact same premise as the Disk Shot Set.
This set features two additional product sets alongside it. An expansion pack was released for this set, which included one Element EX-6, six Micro Darts, and six Foam Disks; a refill pack containing one disc and six darts was also released.
In 2010, Hasbro sued Lanard Toys for copyright infringement around the Disk Shot Set.
