The Crossfire Bow is a Nerf blaster that was released in 2014 under the Zombie Strike series.

It comes packaged with four Zombie Strike Darts and instructions.

Details

The Crossfire Bow is a crossbow-like blaster and features a priming rod that is connected to its bowstrings, even though the blaster relies on a direct plunger system for firing. It also features a tactical rail, an attachment point for a detachable shoulder stock, an integrated sight and sling points located under and in front of the firing trigger. The blaster features the use of an intelligent air restrictor system. Unlike the SledgeFire or the Hammershot, it does not feature the wrapped cloth design on the handle.

It advertises a firing range of seventy-five feet (twenty-two meters).

History

The Crossfire Bow was re-released in 2015 as the N-Strike Elite Sonic FIRE Blazefire, sans bowarms.

Trivia

  • Sometimes the priming rod gets stuck in the "non-primed" position. Pulling it back with caution fixes the problem.
  • Like the Sidestrike, the Crossfire Bow's grip lacks the typical sculpted cloth wrappings that most Zombie Strike blasters had at the time. Instead, it has the N-Strike Elite logo molded onto it, suggesting that the blaster was initially intended for the N-Strike Elite series instead. However, unlike the Sidestrike, there is little additional evidence to back up this claim.
  • The bowstrings can actually be used as a form of banding to increase the strength of the plunger, but only if tightened or if strengthened.
