The Cranking Cannon is a disc blaster with a crank that manually powers up an internal set of flywheels. While other blasters have featured hand cranks, such as the Nerf Razorbeast and Cyclotron, they do not feature a firing trigger like the Cranking Cannon has. If the trigger is held while it the blaster's crank is spun, it will continuously fire discs. The crank is located on the right side of the blaster; there is no crank located on the left of the blaster, making this blaster difficult for left-handed people to use.
It advertises a firing range of up to thirty feet (nine meters).

It is a re-release of the Lanard Total X-Stream Air Cranking Cannon.
