The Compound Bow is a bow-action clip-fed blaster. It features a set of folding bow arms which mimics the function of an actual compound bow. The blaster has one tactical rail on each side for its included scope.
It is compatible with Nerf clip system clips and darts.
It advertises a firing range of up to a seventy-two feet (twenty-two meters).

- The official description for the Compound Bow on the Buzz Bee website advertises a firing range up to a hundred feet (thirty meters); this does not match any firing range claims on the blaster's packaging.
