The Clip Tek is a single-fire Buzz Bee blaster that was released in 2007 under the Ruff Stuff Air Blasters series.

It comes packaged with a Six shell clip, eight Micro Darts and six Shells.

The Clip Tek is an uncommon clip system blaster that uses Buzz Bee's Shell system. Because of this, the blaster features an area where the shells are released. It is the smallest of all Buzz Bee blasters to use clips. This blaster was likely released as a competitor to the Nerf Recon CS-6, being a similar size (when the Recon CS-6 is in its regular form without any accessories) and having a similar function.

The blaster itself is a mid-size blaster with a very small hand rest at the front. It lacks any aiming guides. The clip release button is located on the hand rest beside the clip. It is presumed to be compatible with the Hawk's four dart clip as well.

The Clip Tek was re-released under the Air Blasters line in 2008, however was removed from Buzz Bee's website around 2009/2010. The blaster is assumed to be discontinued because of this.

Despite being removed from Buzz Bee's website, this blaster was re-released under the Air Warriors line in 2011. It was carried over to the Air Zone brand with no changes to name or performance.

Color schemes

The Clip Tek has been released with the following color schemes:

  • Red and black
  • Green and yellow
  • Gray and blue

Reloading and firing

To reload the Clip Tek, simply insert six darts into the clip included with the blaster. The darts must be loaded into shells or else they will not fit in the clip. Insert the clip into the blaster. Pull back the cocking mechanism and push forwards.

Pull the trigger to fire a dart.

  • The Clip Tek uses the exact same clip as the Rapid Fire Tek.
  • The blaster is rather notorious for jamming, mainly due to the shell mechanism in the blaster, which causes jams often.
