This series has been discontinued. Its products cannot be purchased in retail stores. |
The Clear Series is a sub-series of Nerf N-Strike blasters that was released in 2010.
The Clear Series was exclusive to Target; other countries like Hong Kong saw the series as a Toys "R" Us exclusive.
Details[]
As its name suggests, Clear Series blasters feature shells made of clear plastic. With the exception of the Nite Finder EX-3, all Clear Series blasters come packaged with red Streamline Darts.
All the blasters in the Clear Series feature improved internals.[citation needed] However, the clear parts of the blasters are made from slightly weaker plastic. Due to this, it is recommended to slam fire the clear Raider CS-35 with less force or the blaster may break.
Similar to the later Gear Up series, the Clear Series was meant to promote or "Clear The Way" for the then-upcoming Stampede ECS.
History[]
In 2008, clear Mavericks were given away in GameStop stores as an exclusive bonus for purchasing Nerf N-Strike; they were considered rare prior to the Clear Series re-release of the Maverick.
