The Chainblazer is a Nerf blaster that was released in 1994 under the Nerf Action series.
Included contents[]
- 1 Chainblazer
- 1 eight dart chain
- 8 Mega Darts
Details[]
The Chainblazer is a pump-action style chain-fed blaster. It features two handles and a loading guard where chains are inserted onto the blaster.
While the blaster is capable of holding any length of chains, it is recommended not to use more than ten darts at a time to prevent jams and misfires.[1]
History[]
Both the Chainblazer and the Max Force Razorbeast were the first Nerf blasters to use chains. The Chainblazer, however, came first, as it was released one season before the Razorbeast.[2] It was succeeded by the 1997 Cyber Stryke Gear RotoTrack. The RotoTrack was a significant improvement on the Chainblazer; it included a twelve dart chain, and was also much more reliable and durable than the Chainblazer was.
Modification[]
Some Nerfers modify their Chainblazers to have four barrels, one between each tooth on the gear used to advance the chain, creating an effective revolver.
