Your Capture the Flag games just got way more intense with this awesome DART TAG set! The stakes are higher than ever with an electronic flag that features three game modes and sets off a screeching warning alarm when you move it. So how are you going to grab it? Defend yourself with your STORMFIRE blaster or go on the offensive if your opponent gets too close! And you can even shake up the action with two different games: Play Seek & Disarm by finding and “disarming” the flag without setting off the motion alarm or play an action-packed game of Capture the Flag and battle to see who’ll capture the flag and who’ll get tagged! This is Capture the Flag like you’ve never seen it before: with unstoppable DART TAG game excitement! |
History[]
The Capture the Flag set was first revealed in February of 2009 in a press release from Hasbro.[2]
The Capture the Flag blaster set, prior to discontinuation, was the only way to purchase the Stormfire in retail stores. The Stormfire has since been sold as the 2014 Zombie Strike Clear Shot under a different color scheme. The electronic flag was only available in one other blaster set, a bonus pack variant of the Furyfire 2-Player Set.
The Capture the Flag blaster set has won two awards: the iParenting Media Awards 2009 Excellent products and the National Parenting Center Awards Seal of Approval.[3]
