The Captain Phasma Blaster is a Nerf blaster that was released in summer of 2017 under the GlowStrike series to promote the film Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It requires three "AAA" batteries to operate its lights and sounds.
It comes packaged with five GlowStrike Darts, instructions, a shoulder stock, a cosmetic attachment, and pre-packaged demo batteries.
Details
The Captain Phasma Blaster is a bolt-action single-fire revolver with a small cylinder that holds five darts, similar to the AccuStrike Series AlphaHawk. Unlike previous bolt-action blasters, the Captain Phasma Blaster's bolt is rotatable and features a return spring. It has no tactical rails or strap points. Once attached to the blaster, the shoulder stock cannot be removed.
When the blaster is primed, an internal light in the cylinder turns on to charge loaded darts. On trigger pull, it emits laser blaster noises, similar to how it sounds in The Last Jedi.
As its name suggests, it resembles Phasma's blaster rifle used by Captain Phasma in the movie.
