So what do you guys think of the Raider drum coming back with this Terrascout pack? I'm overjoyed!

Well I wouldn't buy a TerraScout just for the CS-35. You can get those on eBay for 30 bucks or less. But it is nice to see Hasbro can still fire up the injection molder for the 35 dart drum, proving it is not dead afterall. Long live the king !
But seriously TMDGE, if you want CS-35s they're all over eBay. Some are in excellent shape, others need a little TLC.
And I thought the Terrascout was expensive before.
I get all my CS-35's from used sites or thrift stores, usually for 10 bucks or less so I won't be rushing out to buy one, if they even come to Canada.
I don't really care about the drum. It jams too often.
Plus, I'm just saying that 17 extra shots and a new color scheme isn't worth an extra 30 dollars.
You know TMDGE, Allosaur brings up a topic we have discussed on the wiki several times. Many Nerfers are wary of, or have given up on the CS-35. I'm one of them. On its face, it seems like such a good idea - bigger drum, more ammo, better Nerf experience.
Truth is, it jams a lot. It plots like a curve: CS-6 clips never jam. CS-10s and 12s rarely jam. CS-18s jam from time to time. CS-25s jam occasionally, and CS-35s jam a lot. The more darts, the more likely the jam. If I'd had fewer vodkas I might be able to do the math. But it seems to me the "Coefficient of Jamming" is something like (CS÷6)², where CS is the number of darts in the clip/drum, and 1.0 is optimal. The higher the number, the higher the likelihood of jamming.
Hey, just call me the "Einstein of blaster theory". Thank you very much ?

Well, I know it's notorious for jams, but when it works good and doesn't screw up, it's good. It is still the largest Nerf dart magazine we have. I mean. Yeah.
Rose colored glasses TMDGE. If you don't already have one, I think you need to get a CS-35 of your very own. Theoretical vs. practical, experience is its own best teacher. Just another observation from an old Nerfer.
Long live the king !

I'll try getting one soon! Hopefully I can use it without jammin' up! Thanks for the talk.
Hey TMDGE, if you're having problems finding one, let me know. I have a couple tenderly loved CS-35s that might like a new home. If the price is right, of course ?
I'll let you know if I have any problem affording eBay ones. Thank you.
Now i've got another to add to my list, right next to gear up.
