NerfHawk's BlogSpot
Hello, and welcome to my new blog!
I was actually looking for a place to start a blog about my NERF journey, but I didn't realize there was one here! So, I will be posting updates and discoveries on my journey.
Anyways, here I will be posting updates on new blasters, accessories, mods, kits, and stuff I bought, discoveries of what I found, such as a new way to mod or whatever. Also, just what's been going on. If I went to a NERF war, or just taking a break.
Basically, just a record of my NERF journey from start to finish(?) Who knows if I'll finish. That's why we're here to see.
Because I don't want to spam blog posts, I'll also include my first post here as well.
Episode 1- Update 12/10/22
So, I have just (seriously) gotten into NERF, and I'm st…
Roblox Nerf Strike Wiki Updates
Hey there I have heavily edited the wiki page for the Nerf Strike Roblox game.
I have included updated information about the game, removed outdated facts/moved some details into trivia, added weapon catagories, added missing weapons/armour, updated prices, etc.
Things that need updating:
types of cases and all the new skins, there is an abundance of skins now in the game and I right now just don't have the time to sift through all of them, hope my current contributions help :)
If I have missed anything let me know or edit yourself, I'm not a casual player of the game but I played for the sake of updating the wiki.

The War To End All Nerf Wars
Hello my fellow Nerfers! I have made an awesome idea! Everyone who has nerf guns, we must stop each other from fighting! We must have a WAR TO END ALL WARS!!! Like WWI! But nerf! We must each pick a side and have a whole "Stream" to have an online war! I have no Idea how to start it, but I have made a "Form" to find positions and teams in the war! The link is below. If anyone has any questions, please let me know!
Thank you,
Xajeu The Argonian (The Other Nerfer)

My Nerf Phoenix LTX/Slugterra Kord Blaster Build
This is my first entry.
I got a Nerf Lazer Tag Phoenix LTX and a Slugterra Kord from Goodwill for $6 and $3, respectively. The Phoenix’ battery tray was incredibly corroded, and the batteries dated from 2017. I proceeded to gut the entire thing, leaving only the shell. I then took the Kord apart and removed the plunger tube, which is MASSIVE. Sadly, the Kord blaster does not have a trigger or a catch system, but I will attempt to improvise one. I have cut one half of the Phoenix shell to fit the internals from the Kord, and plan to cut the other side soon. I will post updates soon.
3D printing attempt
, an example of the results of 3D printing.]]
3D printing is the process of a digitally created model being constructed by a machine into the real world. As a result, 3d printing is a common for modifying blasters and creating homemade blasters.
- 1 Uses for 3D Printing
- 1.1 Cosmetic modification
- 1.2 Blaster modification
- 1.3 Homemade blaster creation
3D printing has a multitude of uses in modification, whether it's for cosmetic modifications, blaster modification, or homemade blaster creation.
Parts are frequently 3D printed to be added onto a blaster for cosmetic purposes. For example, grips are commonly 3D printed for blasters such as the Saturn XX-1000.
3D printing is also commonly utilized for upgrade kits for numerous blasters.

My first custom made blaster will arrive soon.
So, I recently ordered a freedom blasters Viper FR-1 short dart revolver from Frontline Foam. It's currently still processing and I will create a discussion about it when it arrives to let you know what I think!

Elite 2.0 Dart
An Elite 2.0 Dart is a type of Nerf dart that will be released in 2020 under the Elite 2.0 series.
Like Elite Darts, Elite 2.0 Darts are compatible with clips and drums.
They are a derivative of the Elite Dart. As a result, they are similar to other Elite Dart derivatives such as the Zombie Strike Dart, Alien Menace Dart, and Doomlands Dart.
Elite 2.0 Darts have been released with the following color schemes:
- Elite 2.0 (teal body and orange head)
- Alternate Elite 2.0 version (orange body and teal head)

So recently a 3D printed speedloader from Foam Technician arrived in the mail for the Takedown XX-800, and frankly I really like it! I will post a discussion about it when I get more parts ordered!
More rival!
In my opinion, Rival is the top nerf series. I would really like more! One thing that I am sad about is that nerf canceled the Helios in the edge series. The 30 round drum was really cool. I would like more guns like that. The best of Rival is the phantom corps Prometheus. I saw a modded one on youtube that could hold 2000 rounds! I would like a rival gun that could hold that much but 100 rounds per second, and as fast as 150 fps.
New Nerf 2020!
I'm really excited for when the new nerf guns are coming in 2020! I am most excited about the MotoStryke and the new Elite 2.0 series! My birthday is coming up and I will most likely get a Nerf Rival Prometheus. I am also getting an Ultra One, maybe with sonic screamer darts! Not only that but if I get these guns, I will review them all. I may get more red rival guns. The Elite 2.0 gun series look very cool. Yesterday I got an accustrike gun, a raptorstrike! And a micro shot gun. I am getting more storage for my bedroom to store my nerf guns and ammo. I can't wait for July 30!

The Experimental Page Blaster features has a six-dart cylinder at the front of the blaster with a short muzzle. The cylinder can flip out all the way for slow reloading.
To make slam fire possible, the Experimental Page Blaster's cylinder only rotates on plunger return, not on trigger pull. Therefore, the blaster cannot be fully loaded, whereas in its predecessor it wasn't possible to prime the blaster.
It can be said that clearing jammed darts or changing dart types in this blaster is harder due to the spikes near the cylinder chambers aro…

The Screamer Dart is a variant of the ULTRA Dart that's mostly identical to one. The only difference between the two is that the Screamer Dart has a blue whistler dart head rather than a orange streamlined dart head.
The Screamer Darts were first teased in Instagram post that was posted in March of 2020 by Nerf. Later, another Instagram post advertised these new darts, though they have yet to surface in retail stores.

MK-1 Attempt
The MK-1 is a clip system Dart Zone blaster that was released in fall of 2019 under the Dart Zone Pro series.
It comes packaged in the MK-1 Collector's Edition and cannot be purchased separately.
The MK-1 is a clip system blaster, though unlike other clip system blasters, the MK-1 is able to take Half-Length Darts through it's own magazine. The MK-1 doesn't have slam-fire.
On the back of the MK-1 is an extendable stock. The stock however isn't too sturdy, as a lot of force put into it can make the stock collapse.

+Bow overhaul
A +Bow, or PlusBow is a type of homemade blaster.
+Bows are long, rifle-like blasters that usually feature built-in stocks. They tend to have a long plunger, which is primed by a plunger rod resembling that of the 1995 Nerf Action Crossbow, in which they get their name from.
+Bows are usually made out of PVC pipes, due to 3d-printing not being as widespread as today. They are either built to load from the front or a hopper.

HAMP attempt
, an example of a HAMP blaster.]]High airflow manual plunger (HAMP) is a type of plunger system. Unlike conventional direct or reverse plunger systems, the HAMP system does not rely on a spring to actuate the plunger, and instead relies on the user manually working the plunger to fire a projectile out of a blaster.
Most HAMP-action blasters use a direct plunger, sans spring, although HAMP blasters that use a reverse plunger may exist. HAMP-action blasters do not feature the use of a trigger, and solely rely on the user's ability to manually work the plunger by quickly and forcefully pumping the blaster's priming handle. As a result, HAMP-action blasters are less mechanically complex than other plunger systems. Since the system relies on the …
