The Big Blast is an air-powered blaster that bears a strong resemblance to the Lanard Blast Bazooka. It is a medium-sized, single shot blaster with no other source of ammunition storage. It is well known for its ease of modification and because of this, is popular in the Nerfing community. It is one of the few blasters to use Buzz Bee missiles.
It advertises a firing range of up to thirty feet (nine meters).

Launch 2 big foam missiles up to 30’ with this pump action, air pressure missile blaster!
The Big Blast was re-released under the Air Blasters line in 2008. With this re-release, the blaster was given a new color scheme. It was also re-released as an Air Zone blaster in a blaster set two-pack.
It received a new version sometime in 2010, which featured a smaller air tank but an increased pump draw.

- Ruff Stuff Air Blasters (black and yellow)
- Air Blasters / Air Zone Big Blast (green and blue)

To reload the Big Blast, simply insert one missile into the front barrel of the blaster. Press the missile into the blaster as far, as it can go as it may pop out slightly when pumping, depending on the blaster.
Pull the trigger to fire a missile.
- The Big Blast was possibly the first Buzz Bee blaster to be released in white, which became a common color scheme starting in 2012/2013.
