The Belt Blaster is a belt-fed Buzz Bee blaster that was released in 2009 under the Air Blasters series.

It comes packaged with a thirty dart belt and thirty Micro Darts.

The Belt Blaster is a pump-action blaster that is fed by a belt of shells, joined by small connectors on the side of each shell. A handle on the top of the blaster allows ease of carrying, and also acts as an iron sight for the blaster, which meets at the front of the blaster with another iron sight. There is a built-in, fixed shoulder stock at the rear of the blaster.

The ammunition belt of the blaster is notable as it is the only such item produced by Buzz Bee, and can be linked up with other belts. Despite this, belts were not produced in any refill packs nor were they used with any other blaster until the release of the Overlord. The blaster can take any kind of Micro Dart-sized ammunition, and can also use only individual shells without the belt.

It was one of the first blasters to be introduced under the Air Blasters line. Early blasters used the older Ruff Stuff Air Blasters logo and had blue backings on the shells.

This blaster was re-released under the Air Warriors line in 2011.

This blaster is sold under the Ruff Stuff Air Blasters line in Finland.

Blaster sets

A Belt Blaster is included in the Belt Blaster & Mech Tommy 20 Pack.

Reloading and firing

To reload the Belt Blaster, simply insert darts into the front openings of the shells. Press the button beside the loading mechanism to open the door. Insert the belt, and shut the loading door. Pull the handle back to prime the blaster.

Pull the trigger to fire a dart. To fire another dart, pull the handle back again and release.

  • When re-released under the Air Warriors series, the blaster gained a new blue color scheme previously only seen in the Mech Tommy 20 twin pack.
  • This blaster and the Overlord actually have the greatest theoretical ammo capacities of any dart blaster without modification, due to the linking belts.
