The Battlescout camera is a Nerf tactical rail accessory that was released in fall of 2016 under the N-Strike Modulus series.

It comes packaged with the Battlescout ICS-10, and can also be purchased separately on Amazon.

Details[]

The Battlescout camera is a slim, detachable camera that can be attached to blasters via tactical rail. The camera is advertised as being HD 720p. Its SD card slot is located on the left side.

To turn on the camera, flip the top switch to the left to record video or to the right to take a photo. A light will flash green for a moment; once it is done flashing, the camera is ready to use. Press the circular button to start recording or take a picture. A red light will light up in the center of the button when the camera is recording.

An orange knob on the right side allows the user to tighten the hold on the tactical rail when it is attached to a blaster, to secure it in place better.

Despite some improvements over the Cam ECS-12's camera, it still has poor quality and audio.

Trivia[]

  • The camera is featured in the Customize Your Blaster online game and is known as the Modulus BlastCam HD. Some retailers also denote the camera by the name Modulus Blast Cam HD.
