The Ballistic Shooter X-8 is a HAMP-action ball blaster similar to that of the Nerf Reactor. It holds up to eight balls at a time. A scorpion pattern is seen on the back of the blaster.
It advertises a firing range of up to twenty-five feet (seven meters).

The Ballistic Shooter X-8 is officially known as simply the Ballistic Shooter on the packaging, although the "X-8" suffix is seen on the blaster itself. There was a similar blaster before it titled the Ballistic Shooter as well, which the Ballistic Shooter X-8 replaced.
It would later be re-released as the BallistX Blaster Pump Shot X-8.
