Blast Better!

— BOOMco.'s tagline, as seen on product packaging

BOOMco. was a brand of Mattel dart blasters that was released in July of 2014. It had an international release out of Europe in May of 2014.[1]

Details[]

BOOMco. blasters feature the use of Smart Stick Darts, which have the ability to stick to special surfaces of BOOMco. products. Many blasters also feature an attachment rail similar to that of the tactical rail, as well as shield accessories or features.

Most BOOMco. blasters advertise a firing range of seventy feet (twenty meters)[1], comparable to that of the Nerf N-Strike Elite series.

History[]

The BOOMco. brand had multiple releases a year, up until 2017. In 2016, Mattel told fans that it "is not being discontinued at retail", with focus shifting towards their cross-promotional products with the Batman and Halo brands[2]. However, plans fell through and the BOOMco. brand came to a seeming discontinuation[3] between 2017 and 2018.
