Not to be confused with Mech 20.

The Automatic 20 is an electronic Buzz Bee blaster that was released in 2008 under the Ruff Stuff Air Blasters and Air Blasters series simultaneously. It requires three "AA" batteries to be operated.

It comes packaged with twenty Micro Darts.

The Automatic 20, as its name suggests, is an automatic blaster. It has a large drum that is seated behind the muzzle of the blaster. It features an integrated shoulder stock and an integrated grip under the muzzle. While it appears to have an accessory rail on top of the blaster, it is not compatible with any accessories and is there only for the aesthetic of the blaster. On the left side of the blaster is a orange switch that allows the front part of the blaster to be flipped open for full access to the dart drum.

This blaster differs from most of Buzz Bee’s motorized products in that it does not have a separate rev trigger. Rather, the first stage of the primary trigger travel starts the motors.

The Automatic 20 was originally released in 2008 with under the name Automatic Tommy 20. It was re-released in 2011 under the Air Warriors series; the blaster's name was later changed to Automatic 20, dropping the "Tommy" from the name. This name was carried over to the other two series with further production and distribution.

Color schemes

The Automatic 20 has been released with the following color schemes:

  • Dark green, yellow, and orange
  • Blue, green, yellow, and orange

Reloading and firing

To reload the Automatic Tommy 20, pull back the orange switch on the left side of the blaster and flip up the front part that partially covers the dart drum. Load up to twenty darts and click the front piece back into position. Darts can be loaded into the blaster without flipping up the front piece, but it cannot be loaded to full capacity without rotating the drum.

Pull back the firing trigger and release to fire a single dart; hold down the trigger for automatic, continuous dart fire.
