The rifle is a clip-fed, bolt-action blaster, similar to the Ultra-Tek Snipe. It features a tactical rail on the top of the blaster that accepts the included scope, as well as the Range Master scope.
It is compatible with Nerf clip system clips and darts.
It advertises a firing range of up to seventy-two feet (twenty-two meters).

A later re-release of Andrea's Rifle saw its firing performance boosted to an advertised one hundred feet (thirty meters).
It was re-released in 2023 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the comics, with a new white color scheme.
