The Alphafire is a small piston-pressurized blaster. It, alongside the Tidal Tube, was released among the second wave of the 2014 Super Soakers.

History[]
It is currently the second smallest blaster in the Nerf Super Soaker line, with the only blaster smaller than it being the Zipfire, a similar piston soaker.
This was the first time with the exception of promotional blasters that a squirt gun was released under the Super Soaker label; in the past, all squirt guns and piston-pressurized blasters were sold under the similar Power Soaker label by Larami.

The Alphafire has been released with the following color schemes:
- Standard (blue and orange)
- Alphafire 2-Pack / Alphafire 3-Pack (green, blue, and orange)
- Alphafire 2-Pack / Alphafire 3-Pack (white, blue, and orange)
- Sonic ICE (transparent blue, green, and orange)
- Sonic FIRE (transparent red, green, and orange)
Blaster sets[]
The Alphafire has been released in 2-Pack, Alphafire 3-Pack, and 4-Pack blaster sets. The Sonic ICE and Sonic FIRE variants of the Alphafire can only be found in the Tidal Tube & Alphafire Defender Pack.
