An air bladder is an internal component in some air powered blasters.

Air bladders are large rubber bladders that are filled with air to create pressure. Unlike blasters that use air tanks, the air pressure does not directly fire the dart. Instead, the darts are fired from a direct plunger system, and the air force is what primes the blaster. Blasters that use air bladders usually have a very high rate of fire compared to flywheel or motorized direct plunger blasters.
