History[]
The Air Tech Ball Blaster can be considered the successor to the 1999 Ball Blaster due to the fact that they share similar capacities, sizes, and overall design.
Alongside the Air Tech 4000 and the Air Tech Jet Squadron, the blaster was not re-released when the packaging of available blasters was changed in 2003 and did not make an appearance in the 2004 Action Blasters line of re-released blasters.
The blaster was later re-released in 2003 as the Reactor, under the Atom Blasters line.
Trivia[]
- This was the only blaster in the Air Tech line to fire Ballistic Balls and the first blaster to fire Ballistic Balls under Hasbro's direct production of the Nerf brand.
