History[]

The Agent Bow was first revealed on January 21, 2014 at the London Toy Fair.[2] Speculation initially arose over the information described about the red dot sight, whether it was a legitimate sight or a light beam seen in previous blasters and accessories.

There are two known prototype variations of the Agent Bow. The earliest surfaced on a Brazilian website alongside the leaks of the Spylight, Messenger and Diamondista. This featured a pink, orange, and gray color scheme and featured a different handle mold. The other, the pre-production blaster, was the one that was shown off at the London Toy Fair. There are several differences with this variant, most notably the absence of a transparent piece at the side of the blaster where one can see where the arrow is inserted into the blaster. The arrows also featured a different color scheme. Some mock-ups designs featuring arrows of different neon colors were also produced but scrapped before final production.

It was re-released in 2014 under the Code Red Collection sub-series.
