The Agent Bow is a Nerf blaster that was released in fall of 2014[1] under the Secrets & Spies sub-series. It requires two "AA" batteries to operate its integrated red-dot sight.

It comes packaged with a message decoder, a detachable quiver, and three arrows.

The Agent Bow is the first blaster in the Rebelle line, not including the Super Soaker Rebelle blasters, to not fire darts as its ammunition; instead, it features a new-at-the-time arrow-like ammunition type. It also features an integrated red dot sight, which works similarly like the pinpoint sight, and is powered via pulling a trigger located in front of the bow's grip.

Unlike the 2013 Heartbreaker Bow which had a plunger rod attached to its faux bow strings, the Agent Bow actually performs like a real bow; it does not feature any sort of plunger system. The clear red plastic of the bow allows messages to be read from the ammunition.

It advertises a firing range of up to eighty-five feet (twenty-six meters).[1]

Official description

The Agent Bow was first revealed on January 21, 2014 by blogger UK Nerf.[2] This was a result of their attendance at the 2014 London Toy Fair. Other blasters seen at the event including the SlingFire, Demolisher 2-In-1, and Mega ThunderBow had already been seen prior to the event actually taking place. Speculation initially arose over the information described about the red dot sight, whether it was a legitimate sight or a light beam seen in previous blasters and accessories.

There are two known prototype variations of the Agent Bow. The earliest surfaced on a Brazilian website alongside the leaks of the Spylight, Messenger and Diamondista. This featured a pink, orange, and gray color scheme and featured a different handle mold. The other, the pre-production blaster, was the one that surfaced at the London Toy Fair. There are several differences with this variant, most notably the absence of a transparent piece at the side of the blaster where one can see where the arrow is inserted into the blaster. The arrows also featured a different color scheme. Some mock-ups designs featuring arrows of different neon colours were also produced but scrapped before final production.

It was re-released in 2014 under the Code Red Collection sub-series.
