The AR-E is a Nerf blaster that was released in 2019 to promote the video game Fortnite. It requires four "AA" batteries to be operated.

It comes packaged with a ten dart clip, twenty Fortnite Darts, and instructions.

It is a Target exclusive in the United States.[1]

The AR-E is a re-release of the AR-L, with a purple color scheme reflecting its "epic" rarity. It is based off of the epic assault rifle weapon from Fortnite. It is a flywheel-powered, electronic clip system blaster. The blaster features flip-up front and rear iron sights, as well as a tactical rail.

Official description

  • AR-E stands for "Assault Rifle - Epic".
  • Strangely, the official description for the AR-E is almost identical to the AR-L's description, with a few discrepancies. As a result, the description incorrectly refers to it as the "AR-L" instead.
