Not to be confused with the 2014 Nerf Super Soaker series.
The 2011 series is the unofficial designation for an unnamed series of Nerf Super Soakers that began in 2011.
Details[]
The 2011 series was designed and packaged to be very similar to the modern Nerf dart blaster series, by featuring tactical rails on most blasters and a variety of new accessories. This is the first series to be specifically released under the Nerf name, whereas previous series were regarded as "from the makers of Nerf".
This series features a black, orange and white color scheme for most of the blasters within it.
History[]
The oldest blaster in the series is the XP-215, initially released in 2001. Despite the series' unofficial name, the 2011 series continued past 2011, up to 2014, when branding and packaging changed to match the new Nerf Super Soaker releases.
