Yeah, the Stryfe X was overpriced for what it was. Seemed like more of a collectors piece to me.

I don't know why everyone is saying that. They only released two blasters so far and the strikeout is excellent. My only problem with the driller is it doesn't have a trigger guard but that's just a pet peeve of mine. It's a drill, they don't have trigger guards lol.
It does have a barrel lug. You can't see it in this picture is all. If it does have a gearbox like the Apollo, you can mod the blaster to remove it and shorten it up. It's a pain though and it ends up looking pretty janky. It should be possible though. If there's not a gearbox in there, then it just is what it is probably.
It's all good @Gfjjgrrvhjhv . I agree @Hydraxon2 , If they would get rid of the stupid gearbox in there, they could make it more compact. It would be easy to make a proper pistol.
It's not anything like a firestrike. That was a single shot front loader. This is mag fed.
$22 is cheaper than the Apollo or Helios when they first came out. Not too bad.
The priming slide is on the top of the stock. Also I'm sure the gear box is in there. All you could do is cut off the useless bottom rail part.
They might throw out 3 or 4 attachments for us. I don't expect it to be like the old modulus days.
I can dig it. An updated Helios. Little bit of work and it could be a great little blaster.

I'm on r/nerf too. It's honestly a pretty good community for reddit. Everything quiets down in the fall unfortunately.
