Approval is not required, but do make sure that whatever page is being added follows along with what content we allow on the wiki.
If we are missing a page on the wiki, you are more than welcome to add it.
I was just checking for Toy Fair coverage the other day and I guess nothing had uploaded just yet... I'll see about adding a bunch of this to the wiki sometime soon.
I'm not sure about doing a milsim photoshoot in a public space, as that sort of thing might cause people to be uncomfortable. Maybe without the blasters, you'd be better off? But usually, bringing a realistic-looking blaster into a public space is a huge no-no within the Nerf community.
The Stryker accepts Nerf clip system darts and accessories, so I would assume yes, unless there is an issue where it couldn't accept the 35 dart drum due to the shape/size of it.
The Maverick is historically one of the easiest blasters to modify, so definitely that. I imagine the Disruptor might be somewhat similar, given it's also a revolver-style blaster.
I have no intentions on changing this rule, so it would be best to follow it on here.
Interesting that the game lost its Nerf branding. I'll see if I can update the article on the wiki sometime today.
I appreciate the offer, but no thanks!
I've spoken with Vintage Nerf in the past, I don't necessarily want to use their uploads and whatnot without direct permission. I have the clearance for some things they have sent me, but not otherwise.
That was never designated as a sub-series, just folded under the RIVAL series, as there's no AccuStrike Series iconography anywhere on the packaging.
We generally only allow articles for aftermarket blasters if there's enough usage/popularity within the NIC at large. So, smaller niche releases and/or cheap releases that aren't used by the community don't generally get pages made for them.
You would probably be better off on joining an already-used community rather than making your own. Check out the Nerf Exchange on Reddit.
Selling/trading isn't really allowed on here, for safety purposes (mostly that there are minors on here and I don't want the wiki to be involved if, say, a kid takes their parents' credit card and tries to buy from someone on here, lol.) You would probably be better off trying to sell in spaces designated for it, instead.
Make sure you're trying to remove it the correct way; they're only meant to slide off one way and not the other. If you force it too hard in the way you're not meant to remove them, the attachment will surely break.
Your best bet is probably to look up videos on YouTube to see what you can do with one.
We would prefer no comparisons being made to real-life weaponry, or fictional weapons that may look too similar to real-life ones (COD weapons, some TF2 weapons, etc). This is to maintain a safe outlook on the hobby; despite the fact that there's most likely no intended harm in comparing a blaster to a firearm, onlookers may not be able to tell what this intention is. This is also something that makes people equate blasters to being harmful and dangerous. So, we please ask that everyone follows our rules on here about this, it's something that the staff (and the NIC as a whole) believes in, in order to keep our hobby safe.
Looks great!
