Got the Nexus Pro for Christmas. It's been an absolute beast and I'm here to give my "review" on it.

Overall, a solid 9/10 from me. Dart compatibility was something I tested extensively and sure enough, I found that Waffles were launching inconsistently and not at the area I was aiming at. Elite Darts would swerve extremely to the left or right, and some of them were either dropping down or fishtailing. Next was a dart I had thoughts about asking whether or not it was compatible with the Nexus, but I wanted to do my own testing on the Precise Pro Darts. Which were doing pretty well until the last 4 shots which were not feeding properly.

Now to the Pros and Cons.

Pros:

- Ergonomics are expectedly fantastic to my massive proportions.

- Prime weight feels light to me and is a very smooth action.

- From outdoor range testing (50 FT), darts were clearing the field with some hitting the wall.

- (Subjective) Jamming was an easy fix, all I had to do was to fire another and shotgun it.

- You can shoot MEGA and RIVAL (haven't tested ULTRA darts yet on the muzzle).

Cons (which are mostly subjective):

- The Grenade Launcher style sight is weird.

- Putting in the half dart magazine is quite sloppy.

- Why didn't Dart Zone give an option to de-prime?

- It currently is the loudest blaster of my entire arsenal.

- Mag Compatibility is limited.

- The Safety is not as easy to hit as my Vote Checker. (hehe)

So I tried to make a shotgun with my Nexus. I had a simple idea: load a short PVC pipe full of darts and attach it to the flash hider of my Nexus. Did it, caught it on camera and the results are hilarious. I fired and the PVC pipe completely fell off and darts flew out of the pipe and the gun. It was a mess and I laughed so hard because the results were so unexpected.

They all tend to be cheaper by around $5-10 I guess get them before they stop production and become like collector/vintage items?

I’m going to be overhauling my Nexus Pro into a sniper (as in performance) for super stock class wars that I’ll have with friends and family.

Changes

• New Stock: The original stock collapses on me.

• New Sights: I’m not using the original ones. I’m going to sight it from 75-100 feet depending on the spring.

• New Springs (Spring 1, Spring 2, Spring 3, Game Face Prime Spring): I’ll be testing all of these to see what fps I want. I have to compare the velocities to my other blasters to see what I want.

In the future I will be purchasing a kit once I get another Nexus Pro. I’ll have one “sniper rifle” Nexus Pro and one “rifle” Nexus Pro.

So I have currently have a dilemma. There’s an upcoming nerf war that is fairly important as it has a cash prize for the winner and I of course would love to win that however the blasters I currently own probably won’t get me there so instead I’m stuck between two blasters. A modulus stryfe which I won’t modify with a worker stock and an 18 round glow in the dark stick mag. Or I could get a nexus pro which I also won’t modify. Unfortunately I have a budget of around 100ish dollars so sadly I can’t get the MK-III when it comes out but if anyone else has any recommendations I’m happy to take some.

Does anyone know good red dot sights compatible with the nexus?

All the crap I find is either not compatible, way too expensive for what it is, or just crappy.

Also, the rail is a Picatinny rail
