MK-2 for a powerful sidearm, Rush 40 for the capacity.
And rush 40 if you have too much money and want to waste them by keep losing ammo
I think both the dzp mk2 and the Kronos are really good pistol class blasters (kinda like the best in segment). Personally I wouldn't say which one is better. Because the Kronos is a 90 fps Rival secondary while the dzp mk2 is a 130 fps half dart secondary (I'm not sure whether it's 130 or 150). They do what they're supposed to do. Even if you consider the price of both the packs, the Kronos costs around
20$ and comes just as the blaster with 5 rounds which is perfectly fine for that price. On the other hand, the dzp mk2 costs around 80$ but it comes with 2 really nice holsters, one for the blaster and one for the speed loaders, a suppressor looking attachment, the blaster and darts. Even if you consider the cost of one of the holsters is 15$ (which is still ridiculous considering the quality), and the cost of the 2 speed loaders to be 6$ each, the blaster only costs 38$ which is phenomenal. Again, adding a more powerful spring to the Kronos can make it a little fair comparison. Also if the Kronos was designed from the ground up to take half darts, there wouldn't be much of a difference. So what I'm trying to say is that you should be able determine which blaster you need or you would use or you can use.
Knockout is also a pretty good blaster that belongs to the sub pistol/ emergency pistol/ single shot blasters category. Probably the only sub pistol I would buy any day
I wouldn't suggest the hyper thing. I'm not a fan of it. Buying a hyper or an elite 2.0 or an ultra or any of the recent collaborative blasters is like promoting Nerf to become greedy. It kinda gives them a feeling like whatever we do people will buy our blasters. So I'm kinda against it. Also the hyper rounds are costly, suck at accuracy and are tacky. And if I'm buying a blaster, I should atleast get enough rounds to be able to load the blaster upto it's maximum capacity. So the whole hyper system kinda sucks
I voted for Kronos because we can't have Dart Zone products.
If, by some miracle, could get the MK-2, I would most likely end up on Merkel's death list.
The Rush 40 has 40 round capacity and even if the rounds are terrible you have 40 of them (or 30 if you only bought the blaster)
True, very true. But you won't win a nerf battle if you can't hit what you're aiming at. Hyper is bad that way.
Hyper reminds me of Nerf® Elite. The blasters got bigger and faster, but the accuracy sucked. For all intents and purposes, they're both a waste of good ammo.
Bottom line, a $26 Rush-40 with 30 rounds against a $25 Aeon Pro with 12 half-length darts is no contest. Even with a 25 round refill pack. Aeon FTW.
Rush 40 and the MK-2 both make sense for me.
Now hear me out
If your primary is a modified Rapidstrike or something, and you need an accurate and hard hitting sidearm, the MK-2 is better.
But if you have a Nexus Pro or Pump Aeon as a primary, just get a Rush 40.
If you use a secondary to fight back to your primary weapon.
@Namingistoohard True, lmao
What if you have the Stryker as a primary weapon
Because I have the Stryker as a primary and the Rush-40 as a secondary and the Takedown as a "shotgun" like blaster.
What do you think?
