What really should define stock-class is the joules. Rival shoots much harder and more accurately, but it still has a similar amount of actual force(and the force per square centimeter). Likewise, a Mega XL blaster shoots much bigger, heavier projectiles, but because the projectile is so wide, that force is spread over a greater surface area, yielding similar amounts of joules. A pro blaster, on the other hand, is taking a similar projectile to the micro dart, and making it shoot much harder, but without any change in surface area on the head. Thus, a half-length shooting at 150 fps will hurt more than any of Hasbro’s projectile, because of weight distribution & good Ol’ physics.
